welcome to the forum. there’s been some previous discussion about videos. see [https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/videos-for-observations/5408](https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/videos-for-observations/5408), [https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/upload-videos/5426](https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/upload-videos/5426), etc. i think the gist of the past conversations is that while there’s interest in accommodating videos, there’s a lack of resources to realistically make that happen, and currently, other things would take precedence over a push to handle video anyway. but if you have connections to some deep pockets or some technical resources, maybe that could get things reprioritized… --- _[View the full topic](https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/1-idea-maybe-this-could-happen-in-the-future/14590)._
