Adding observations to a Project

Hey, I made a new project called “Exotic Reptile Sightings in Australia” and I want to add individual observations to the project but I cannot figure out how to do this. I also can’t figure out how to remove all the current sightings and just add specific ones. An example would be something like this.

You can add an obersavtion to the project if you open the desired observation. There you should see a field on the right side with the heading “Projects” (red rectangle):

You can click on “Add to a project”, then enter the name of you project, and select it. Done.

This tutorial from the forum also explains how to add observations to projects: tutorial adding obs.

And I found a thread about deleting observations from a project: tutorial deleting obs

you’ve created a collection project; it’s not possible to manually add (or remove) individual observations to it. Either an observation meets the project filters/requirements that you have defined, or it doesn’t. If you want a project that allows you to add individual observations, you need to create a traditional project:

however, you won’t get that option until you’ve added at least 50 verifiable observations to iNat; so you need to do that as a first step

Off topic your avatar over on iNat is fun

Thank you!! That means a lot coming from you, as you were the first profil I kept recognizing on different forum posts when I startet joining the forum haha :)

Ah dang alright, thank you!
