Albino animals in Texas

where can I go to see albino raccoons in Texas and or albino blue jays. or any other cool places to see any albino/Leucistic animals?

An older college campus might be a good possibility. Not one of the newer ones that look like sterile office parks, but something that has open space, lots of mature trees, and a variety of architectural styles and ages among the buildings.

I don’t know anywhere in Texas that fits the profile; I’m basing this from practically growing up on University of Louisville’s main campus. There was (and probably still is) an enormous population of both squirrels and Eastern Cottontail rabbits that had albino, leucistic, melanistic, dilute, and piebald individuals. The students thought that they were cute and fed them, and they were all reasonably safe from predation. A couple of the frat and sorority houses even had unofficial ‘mascots’ in the form of particularly tame critters.

I’m not advocating feeding or attempting to tame said animals, you understand. But you could take advantage of the situation without adding to the problem.

Ok thank you, I’ve heard that they have some at the Waco zoo
