Description of problem:
I was never a fan of the mobile app, it has fewer options than desktop (especially for identifying) and freezed or crashed from time to time. But I have impression that recently it got much worse. Earlier I could identify several dozens of observations before I had to restart it. Now, it sometimes returns to the starting screen after I try to open the first observation.
Strange. I’ve been using the app for a couple of years and can’t recall ever having a problem. What phone is this and what Android level?
I have primarily used the Android app for years and I’ve noticed something similar for a while now. I have version 1.38.2 [646] on a Google Pixel 10 with Android version 17. The app crashes more than it used to for me. Sometimes the popup saying iNaturalist is not responding will repeatedly pop up every 20-30 sec until I restart the app, even when the app is working normally. Still love and use the app frequently, but I feel like it’s gotten buggier
