Appropriate Non-animal sound recordings on iNat

These are animals, but…Do people also record the sounds of birds flying? Tui have a pretty distinctive rhythm to their wing beats, for example, which i find diagnostically helpful.

And in an urban context, the sounds of a small bird hopping across a metal roof is quite different to the sound of a larger pukeko or swamp hen walking across - the latter more like someone walking and sliding awkwardly in stilettos (quite startling if you’ve been asleep!)

As far as I can tell, people mostly record wind on the mic.

I’ve been startled by the sound of a plant I kept in my house opening its leaves a few years ago. The sound of thick leaves (I think it was an amaryllis bulb) stretching as they tore away from each other in the middle of the night was certainly a way to wake up.
