In an email from yesterday, “April 28–May 10: Help identify species” was listed. Is this going to another ID-a-thon or something else?

This is the identification period for the global City Nature Challenge. As far as I know, iNat itself is not running any ID workshops concurrently with this period. iNaturalist hosts the data for the City Nature Challenge, but iNat is not the organization that runs the Challenge - that’s a separate organization.

That would make sense. Time would be needed to review the IDs and then publish results. When I read the dates, I took them as separate events not steps within the same one. Thank you.
