My experience:
It is a good opportunity to introduce friends to iNat when they plan to travel.
One can show them observations of flora and fauna, common and rare, of their destination, how the iNat system and the app works. Maybe it kindles their curiosity of exploring and observing.
I think the forum gets the idea.

Ah yes, this reminds me of my travels before I was interested in the natural world. Albeit small in comparison to the times I have been an interested naturalist, but some of them make my heart ache to know how amazing the observations could’ve been. Not to say they weren’t great; that would just be downright ungrateful of the travels I did get to have.
