Nice photos! Welcome to the forum!
Thanks! Happy to be here!
I think I have another “Best” with this Brown-belted Bumble Bee.
I’m rather proud of this pic of Evania appendigaster.
I just recently bought a cheap little smartphone macro lens for $15, and it’s already taken my bug photography to new heights :)
Cool though!
Amazing colour!
Here’s an adult for a better view:
Juveniles don’t have as much black.
(Also don’t worry about the little guy, he’s not really dead. He’s just acting)
Oh! I am slain!
I had a hard time deciding if I should post this here or in the red topic. Ultimately, I decided to put it here. It is one of my favorites. I do not consider myself a photographer and I have a ton of mediocre photos to prove it but occasionally I get lucky and the stars align just right and I get a decent photo. This was in my opinion one of those times. I kind of like the almost prehistoric feel to the photo. I almost forgot: Cinnamon Teal
That’s not just a “decent” photo, it’s beautiful.
Thank you!
My most recent favorite. Lithobates catesbeianus: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/306377439
This is one of my favorites, mostly because I didn’t edit it at all and I think it came out quite nice for being a basic phone photo. Just zoomed and snapped.
