Judging by the ring on its stem and blobs on its cap, it is death in a small package.

That is the Greengill (or “Green-spored Parasol” on iNat.) Some older sources say that there have been fatalities, but newer sources say that it will only make you sick to your stomach.

reverse image search said chowder clam but inat didnt suggest that so idk lmao

if you squint it looks like jabba the hutt

Up here in Alaska at least, I think it’s some kind of burrowing polychaete that makes tunnels in shells like this.
