# Blank 'expected nearby' map

I just came across a strange situation which I’m assuming is a bug - the ‘expected nearby’ map for _Ima fusca_ is entirely blank ([link](https://www.inaturalist.org/geo_model/566617/explain)). The unthresholded map works exactly as expected:

But for some reason the expected nearby map is just entirely blank:

When you first load the page, the map is also zoomed in extremely far, which suggests to me that at least some part of the map is working correctly. Any ideas as to what is going wrong?

I’m not sure what you mean exactly, but it can be accessed from the taxon page under the ‘About’ tab
