Computer Vision seems unresponsive during CNC

I noticed a lot of “Unknown” observations being recorded this morning, and I also noticed that computer vision seems to be non-responsive both via an existing observation and via upload in the website. Looking at the errors logged, the CV API in both cases seems to be responding with an error code 500 (Internal error). Normally I wouldn’t care except that this is during CNC when tons of observations are being recorded, especially by newcomers.

I think Seek and the new mobile app should still provide suggestions via their simplified models though.

I’ve started seeing this, too, in the last hour. I suspect the CV is being overwhelmed, today!

Yes I also noticed this issue when I upload this morning. It was working for half of the observations then stopped working altogether. Hopefully the fix is in soon.

sorry folks. We identified some problems on the backend that was causing 500 errors in some CV requests. These have been resolved so hopefully CV requests work normally again

thanks. the CV looks back to normal, and the number of “unknowns” being recorded seems to have decreased.
