# Creating Projects - Include Places question

I’m new to creating projects but on a steep learning curve.  
When I include a place and type in the name, the place doesn’t show up. However, if I go to the main iNaturalist page under More/Places and do a search, it appears as well as many more places with similar names but with different locations. My question is: If you’re wanting to include Places within the Project editing page and a Place is not found, what does one do?

I’m sure people here can help you. In cases like this, it is often useful to include a screen shot to show exactly where you are entering what information.

Yes, it would be helpful to know the specific place you are looking for and what type of project you are attempting to create.
