Cupressus and Hesperocyparis

I see Jepson refers to some cypress as Hesperocyparis.
Does iNat disagree with this? I see it is only a parenthetic on Cupressus.

I guess I’d ask, what is the status of Hesperocyparis with iNaturalist?

Hesperocyparis is used as a synonym to Cupressus on iNat. If you’re ever unsure on the nomenclature being used for a taxon, under the ‘Taxonomy’ tab for the taxon, on the right are links to the Taxonomy Details, Taxonomy Changes, and Taxonomy Schemes relevant to them. Looks like in March 2019, Hesperocyparis were swapped over to Cupressus.
