Default Concealing the Locations of Reclusive Birds?

In this Washington Ornithological Society presentation the speaker mentions that they ask their volunteers not to post reclusive birds like the American Bittern to eBird because they worry that people will use the service to find their location and harass the birds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mh4NdtoAY1c

Should we make it so the locations of birds that are reclusive/shy and don’t tolerate people well are concealed (showing only the general area not the precise location) by default even if the bird isn’t endangered?

If you think a species should be auto-obscured upon upload/identification, the best avenue to discuss this is to flag it directly on iNat, and tag some of the top observers/IDers for their thoughts
