I love seeing how communities recognize their most dedicated members:
- iNaturalist has highlighted top identifiers on their blog
- The Australasian Fishes project regularly highlights top members
- eBird features an “eBirder of the Month”
It got me wondering, “Is there a plant version of this? What about fungi? Do other taxonomic communities do the same thing?”
