I don’t know how well it will work for you to ask this question on the forum, which is worldwide. Instead you might want to look and see who makes a lot of observations in your area (especially on a regular basis rather than during one brief visit) and then ask those people individually if they would be interested in meeting up, and if so when and where.

I agree, most events I’ve taken part of through iNat have invited me the way Susan describes.
As a northern Chautauqua County person I’d be interested in an Erie County meetup. Haven’t been to Tifft in ages.
