Just for the record, as discussed on another thread, this might be the oldest iNat observation actually observed and photo’d by the iNatter: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/47768061
Most of us can’t beat that because we weren’t born yet.

I’m user 28 but my oldest obs is number 667.
I didn’t know we were assigned user numbers. I’d like to have mine for my personal records and tax filings. ;-)
Yeah, each account has an account_id number, just like taxa and places do.
My oldest obs are 4th May 1981 https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/250898908
Until about 4 or 5 years ago the time zone assigned to the observation was the time zone where the photo was uploaded not where the photo was taken. I have many older observations with the wrong timezone and sometimes wrong day (international date line) but correct time. I have corrected most but there still remain a few wrong ones. It doesn’t help that sometimes I forgot to reset the clock in my camera. That doesn’t happen anymore as I always leave my camera on UTC standard time and adjust the time in bulk when I review the photos. So I sympathize with the person who uploaded that observation.
