I have nothing to do with this upcoming documentary and don’t know if it’s any good, but from what I’ve read, the story of the escaped Eurasian Eagle-Owl from the Bronx Zoo is worth learning about. Flaco generated important conversations about the hazards of rodenticide, the use of windows that limit bird strikes and the general safety of animals in urban environments. For many New Yorkers, Flaco also became an unlikely symbol of defiance and resilience. Trailer on YouTube.
