Forum topic for insects/other arthropods?

I saw that there’s a topic for general discussion of moths and another for fungi. I tried searching one for insects/other arthropods but couldn’t find one, so I’m wondering here if one exists.

As far as I can recall, there is no thread similar to what you describe (but I’m happy to be corrected by others if I am wrong!).

You could start one, although Tony is not a fan of these types of threads, as they don’t really support the purpose of the iNat Forum. I would say that they’re tolerated, rather than encouraged.

Instead of a dedicated thread for arthropods, what I have seen is that arthropods are mentioned in other threads, such as camouflage, observations hiding in other observations, etc.

Yes, I’m not enthusiastic about such threads either. They seem to be mostly full of banality but there might be something interesting in there that would be overlooked. As an entomologist, I would be particularly disappointed if such a thread was set up for arthropods.

The (unofficial) iNat-adjacent Discord server might be a better place if you just want to chat with other bug appreciators.
