What funny iNat observations have you seen? And do you think intentionally funny observations have any value? The funniest ones I have seen are many of the homo sapiens observations and the ones where a person is holding nettles or poision oak/ivy/sumac

My two most amusing observations are both arthropods. An overly curious daddy longlegs: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/117451729 And a very bold (or cluless) little bee: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/131228216

poor daddy longlegs! and haha, that bee X-D

I’m the admin for the Sunbathing birds project. A lot of birds look ridiculous when they are in sunbathing postures (they look high).

[image] ncb1221: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/66895474 “Sheldon never did quite retain his mother’s lectures on table manners”

These two are pretty good out of my recent ones Grilled cheese feeding frenzy: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/161293539 Either the bravest or dumbest squirrel the world has ever seen: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/147290415

This Japanese Beetle had it’s head stuck on a flower: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/386279162 This one too has it’s head stuck, probably sleeping: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/386431237 “Is there someone behind me?”: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/383095997 [l…

How about this butterfly? It was feeding with such enthusiasm that it got a flower stuck to its proboscis: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/126220378

Here’s another butterfly. This was the only butterfly out on a very foggy, drizzly day in the mountains, and it got droplets on its antennae: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/382596789
