Funny Squirrel Observations

I really love how funny squirrels are. Like in these observations:

I don’t have a picture, but I was almost late for work once because I was mesmerized and delighted by a squirrel chasing a leaf in a parking lot. It would pounce on it, release it, let the breeze pick it up, and then pounce again. I had no idea a squirrel would do that.

Made quick work of that chip.

And this squirrel was just shrieking! :)

This Rock Squirrel – a species of ground squirrel – is as agile as any tree squirrel in getting into a tube feeder full of seed.

We don’t have tree squirrels in my area and these squirrels fill that feeder-raiding niche.

Even for an area where summers can be hot, we were having an unusually bad heatwave. This pic said it for all of us.

Are you sure that wasn’t just because it was Monday?

Squirrels are called squirrels, not Garfield.
