Gopher Tortoise Endangered Species DENIED

The Gopher Tortoise population in Florida is in danger of exterpation, as it remains in the category: Threatened Species. Despite hatchlings being picked off by crows and other predators, destruction of habitat, and death by automobile, the state’s Environmental Agency disagrees with the threat.
