From time to time I get a hybrid as suggestion from the CV. As hybrids are meant to be excluded by design. Did I miss a design change?

Looks like it was ranked as a species until recently which may be why:
There’s that one Mentha complex that only contains hybrids that gets suggested (at complex level!) by CV which I’ve never been able to work out.

Forsythia x intermedia comes up in CV a lot…probably one of the most observed hybrid species on Inat.
Would be a plausible explanation, thx
