# Guatemala - iNaturalist World Tour

We’re in [Guatemala on the World Tour](https://www.inaturalist.org/posts/27252-guatemala-inaturalist-world-tour) today.

Here are the GADM [Level 1](http://inaturalist.github.io/gadm1s.html?name=gtm) and  
[Level 2](http://inaturalist.github.io/gadm2s.html?name=gtm) places we’re using. Are these places correct?

What can we do to get more people in Guatemala involved in iNaturalist?

The GADM Levels 1 & 2 seem to be correct as far as I can tell. As for getting more people in Guatemala involved in iNaturalist, I’m doing my best from afar at the moment by creating and running [https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/biodiversidad-de-guatemala](https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/biodiversidad-de-guatemala) . Since I have relatives in Guatemala, I also visit regularly, and in the future hope to run a bioblitz there and train others on how to use iNaturalist.

I’ll be visiting Guatemala next month and plan on making some observations while there. It will be my 9th visit! I looked through my old Guatemala trip photos and added some observations from my previous trips (before iNaturalist).
