# How do you flag user icons as offensive?

What should we, as users, do when someone uses something inappropriate as their icon? Is there a way to flag it so mods can look at it? Here’s an example, just to show what I mean: (link removed)

(Not that I personally find it offensive, but it _is_ inappropriate for someone in middle school, haha.)

I’d say it’s inappropriate for iNat period. There isn’t a way to flag a user’s icon, but iNat staff can remove it, which I’ll do in this case once I notify the school administration. In future cases, please email [help@inaturalist.org](mailto:help@inaturalist.org)
