Don’t click on the observation though unless you want to spend ten minutes waiting while your internet browser struggles to load everything.

This explains a lot.. I tried clicking on a link to an observation and was wondering why my internet was being slow haha
The other observations in the project Geralds of the World usually come up just fine, though. An interesting place to browse.

If you can get it to load, the 800+ observation fields alone are worth reading through.

I didn’t even know it was possible to put in all of those strange observation fields, nor did I think they were for anything besides helping with the ID
“Gerald enjoyed his time as a beaver”?? What is that for?? Honestly, I’m about to misID one of my own and see if it can get as much attention; currently my largest number of faves on an observation is three, mine included 
observation fields are an entirely community-driven thing; any user can make a field, and any user can utilize any field.
