If you “fave” an observation, you will receive updates on it. The option is in blue just below the mapping for an observation on the website. ---

Try disabling your extensions / using a private browsing window. Sometimes certain extensions block features of the iNat website. ---

I usually just insert a “following” comment. That will get me notiications whenever anyone adds something. If you think that sounds rude, any enthusiastic comment will do the same. ---

If there are already IDs on the obs, all those identifiers will be notified ‘following’ I follow, and unfollow obs as it suits me. ---

I can see you have faved that obs - and that will notify you of any activity. Also tells the observer that you like their obs. ---

When I’m using the “identify” feature, there’s a button for “follow” (to right of lower edge of map). You can click that and get the option to follow either the observer or the observation. ---
