How to geotag in a phone without GPS?

My canon died this weekend and I’m not sure I’m going to repair it (depends on what the repair shop says it’ll cost). I’m thinking of downgrading to something like a super zoom (Lumix FZ80, Nikon CoolPix series) due to them being lighter and easier to carry, and the fact I’m hacked off that this is the second canon I’ve had die on me in 5-6 years

But it looks like the non-DSLR’s mostly don’t have geotagging, and oh man I do not want to manually have to enter all those coordinates. Does anyone have experience with work arounds maybe syncing via apps or anything?
