How to group insects i have submitted that only i can see?

i’m taking an entomology unit this semester and as part of our mark we need to submit 30 photos of the insects we are putting on our collection. we then need to grab the links to them and submit that. however, i’ve come to love inaturalist and the unit insects are getting lost with the other insects.

my first idea was to just have the first image be on the collection, so at a glance i can clearly tell if that insect is part of my collection (it has a styrofoam background), or one i found in nature.

however, i’m wondering if there is like an album feature, like in my photos app i can create albums so i can have all my photos in one place but specific photos i want to find faster in their own place.

so i don’t think i would want to create a project because those seem public and i don’t want anyone else’s submissions mixed up with mine.

What about a unique tag for your insect collection observations? When you search for the tag, only those observations will show up.

If you make a traditional project you can limit who can add observations by either having members be invite only or restricting submissions to curators.

if you’re talking about grouping 30 observations, you also have the option of just keeping a list of 30 observations, since there aren’t that many of them. if you want to see them together as one set, you can use the id parameter with a comma-separated list of observation IDs, like so: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?id=384666043,384666044.
