I believe I encountered a bug

Today I validated as an Ophrys speculum the following observation of a friend of mine:
https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/52833740

the picture disappeared from the observation then reappeared some seconds later. Thought everything was in order and I forgot.
Now, a few hours later, it seems that I suggested that
https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/52833740
was about an Ophrys speculum, which of course it is not.

Coming back to observation from my friend, it is indeed alright, except that my validation disappeared.
I wonder if it was all a mess from a bug… or, as they say in Galicia (N. Spain) from a “meiga” = kind of a witch!

What did you suggest instead of Ophrys speculum?

Actually, I have been experiencing the same bug, but somewhat differently. I will click on an observation to either check out or identify and then all the sudden I will be at a different observation that lacks a photo. Within a few seconds I am transported back to the previous observation. I am not sure if this is just the device I am using or iNat but, I have been waiting for someone to bring up a similar bug so I can see if the experiences are similar.

These are the same link. In both cases you said Ophrys speculum. Was there a typo?

When I am working on a slow internet connection, and have just put in an ID, I often load a new observation, only to still see either the photo from the previous observation with the ID of the observation I just switched to, or the identification from the previous observation with the photo of the one I just switched to. If I put in an identification too quickly, it can end up either on the previous observation or the one I tried to switch to. I have learned when my connection is poot to wait a few seconds after putting in an ID before switching to the next observation.

I’ve had this problem happen too, but I have really poor internet. I usually just reload and it stops bugging out.

We released a potential fix for this yesterday. Can anyone replicate this issue now?

I just upgraded my home internet, but next time it is slow I will try some IDing and see if I get this problem.

I just encountered something that may or may not be the same problem. I was scrolling through @trikechick 's observations, identifying those that needed it. I identified this bird as a Red-winged Blackbird, then clicked the left arrow to go to the next observation. What loaded was a confused mix of the observation I had just been looking at, and the next one, which was of a California Scrub-Jay. I was not experiencing any internet connectivity problems at the time. I reloaded the page and got the normal, correct, RWBB observation back. A screenshot is attached.

Do you remember if the blackbird ID finished saving before you clicked on the arrow?

I do not remember specifically, but since I was not paying attention, I guess that I clicked the arrow without waiting for it to finish saving.
