I lost access to my iNaturalist Forum account fishguynoah, can I get a password reset or have it deleted. I don’t think it is connected to my email. Any help is welcome.

I’m pretty sure non-staff moderators don’t have access to email addresses used for account creation. So I think you will just have to check whichever email account(s) are most likely what you used. Be sure to check any spam folders just in case…

Yeah, only staff can see the email address for your account.

From what I can tell, fishguynoah was created via your Inaturalist account. So if you choose the “log in with iNaturalist account” option when logging on to the forum, that should work.

When I try that, it logs me into my new account. Before making this new account it still just said sign up. Is it possible that you can delete it for me? Not a big deal if you can’t.
I can merge the forum accounts. That work for you?

@tiwane Sorry for the late response, it’s me again. When I try to log into the forums with my iNaturalist account, it says to resend a verification link. When I do, it never shows up in my email. Do you have any idea of what I can do? Once again, thank you for your help.
