I was about to leave a “like”, but saw that you currently have 11, and thought you would like that…
Oops, I brought it to 12. Removed like to get it back to 11. ![]()
Lol. You guys are great!
Took my like out too. You are now back to 11.
Two months into 2026 and I’ve already made over 10,000 IDs! More than 4 times what I had made by this time last year.
It’s been two years since I joined this amazing community, and I’m really proud to be here.
Today I’m celebrating my second year on iNat, and I want to thank you all for the trust, help, and knowledge we’ve shared along the way!
And, just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, BOOM! I’ve hit 85.000 IDs!
(and got myself a new profile picture after yesterday’s celebration, a walk in the park
Far away from that milestone, but finally achieved 1K IDs of a species.
Thanks @glauber735 for helping me realize this!
Despite having made >70,000 IDs for others, this milestone was quite difficult to reach, as I have my focus on difficult-to-ID groups, so I am usually that bad guy who comes along and disagrees with your ID on species level ![]()
400 Day Observing Streak on iNat!
I get that. About half of my overall IDs are at genus level so this milestone took me a while as well ![]()
Just passed 4000 IDs ![]()
Today I just passed my 5,000th observation ![]()
Last month I hit my 2nd year anniversary on iNat.
Currently I’m on a 94 day streak, my longest yet. I have been energised by iNaturalist Tools https://glauberramos.github.io/inat/, especially the Achievements and Life List ones. Going out every day during the winter months was a real challange (both for me, and to find something to observe).
I hit 300 observations and 6000 IDs today!
