Description of problem:
Unable to upload new observations from my iPhone since this morning (UK time).
Initial issue was the App freezing once a photo or photos were selected and “Add” clicked - just a green “loading” bar across the top of the screen and App frozen.
Have deleted and reloaded the App (slightly updated version, now, I think), and the issue is not resolved. However, the App does not freeze, it just returns to the home screen after selecting photos and clicking “Add”.
Are these Live Photos? Someone else reported this issue with Live Photos. I haven’t been able to replicate, but I’d be curious if that’s the case here.
No, they are just normal photos. I’ve deleted and reloaded the App again today, also cleared some memory (as low memory has caused some problems before) but still the same. Screen video attached.
Ha! I seem to have fixed it. I tried to attach a video to my last post and it didn’t attach. Seemed to suggest it was the same issue and remembered I changed my iPhone photo settings a few days ago when I was trying to clear some space. It was this setting that I’d changed to Keep Originals meaning photo files were being used as HEIC format not JPG. Changed back to Automatic and seems to be fixed
