Description of problem: I know there’s another report on here about audio recordings, but my issue doesn’t include the loading loop.
My issue is that I click the green button with a plus (to open the upload options), click record audio (not upload audio) and then click pause, click done. It immediately takes me to the regular edit page with the location info, options to add images, ect.
Then when I click the green check, to finish my edits, it just doesn’t have any media added, at all. Unless I also have included a photo. Then it’s just the photo being shown.
For the life of me, I cannot figure out what I’m doing wrong, so I think it’s a bug?
Right after this happens, please send us log files from the app. To send log files, go to the About tab in the iNaturalist app and tap three times on the version number. You will then have the option to email the log files to us.
There’s nothing called iNaturalist Classic for Android. Can you please share a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Here are instructions for how to take a screenshot on several types of devices: https://www.take-a-screenshot.org
