When identifying, is there a shortcut for entering in the sensu stricto subgenus without having to select it from the drop down menu? Such as the subgenus Agapostemon.
Found my own solution. Use the taxon ID number instead. So for subgenus Agapostemon use 606634 - this will only generate that particular subgenus in the drop down menu.
If you are in Identify and click the taxonomy - you can choose the level you want.
Or if you can remember the common / foreign name to trigger the right taxon.

Absolutely. I’ve changed the topic a little to reflect that the subject was with respect to sensu stricto subgenus.
I’ve also found this solution works for sensu stricto subspecies as well.
