Larger photos for batch editing?

I’m not sure if this is a question or a feature request, to be honest.

The batch edit is super useful! But, after using it for more than five minutes by eyes start to hurt from squinting at the teeny-tiny thumbnails. Is there any way, that I have not yet found, to make them bigger? If there are going to be images on the batch edit page, it would be nice to be able to see them.

Zooming in the whole page doesn’t really help because I have to zoom in so far I might as well not be batch editing, but also, the images become so blurry that I still have to squint.

“Batch editing” can refer to a few things. Can you please include screenshots and URLs? That will help us all understand exactly what you’re referring to. See https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/about-the-general-category-please-read-before-posting/61

I’m not talking about a page that could be called that, I’m talking about the page that is literally called that. You go to “Edit Observations” and then you choose “Batch Edit”.

It’s a user-specific page, so there is no one URL. Also, there is no separate URL when you select batch edit. It’s just https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/{username}

This is what I would called the Batch Edit page. The URL begins wth https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/edit/batch

Again, this is why screenshots and URLs are so important. It allows us all to know exactly what we are referring to. It sounds like you are referring to the Edit Observations page, eg https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/tiwane

In either case, it’s not possible to increase the image size on those pages. But if you’re using the Edit Observations page, you can use the Search functionality to get a smaller, more focused set of observations.
