This little issue has persisted now for over 6 months. Undoubtedly due to the fact that the Life taxon record has no parent. It can’t be changed on the live site since the entry field is inactive.
Has a member of staff tried making its parent Life on a test server? Or would the circularity cause problems?

It would be nice to remove it from our dashboards :)
I think the best solution would likely be to make it so the dashboard just ignores life, rather than trying to give it an actual parent.

Life isn’t grafted? Explains a lot.
Also, having a dashboard ignore Life is a bad precedent if we’re gonna have self-driving cars.
