I agree! Here in Northeastern US we only have one species of hummingbird. It feels unfair, since there are 382 species, and California has18 … but at least we have one!

At least one - and you managed to get a good photo! - I just came back from Ecuador and the book has pages and pages of them… I got 21 not so good observations of ca. 5 species. Now I want to find out about the plants, that’s why I was looking for the project.
