# Location description not updating properly

Browser: Chrome (though it probably applies to every browser)

The following observation has its location in Scotland, but the location description is appearing as somewhere in Spain. [https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/116102302](https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/116102302)  
Here’s a screenshot:

I had a theory that this was caused when someone uploads an observation with the wrong location and then changes it. I tested this by uploading the following observation [https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/116468811](https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/116468811) with the wrong location and then changing it. This test supported my theory.

Those location names are never correct, but they don’t really affect observation or searches.
