Sometimes it would be helpfull to point with an arrow on an identification detail in a picture and reupload it to the observation.

Is there a way to do so, that I have overlooked so far?
Describing it with text is allways a bit unsure, if it’s understandable correctly, when you are not a native english speaker. With a quick arrow, this would be helpfull to underline what is described.

Do add a picture with the arrow, and put that one first. Do add the text – but you may have to remind identifiers – this obs is for that creeper. And tag someone in to add another ID for the creeper, till you tip the CID somewhere useful.

I’m talking about observations others have made, not my own ones. There (the observation of others) it would be helpfull to take their picture and add an arrow or a circle to show where to look on and illustrate what detail is helpfull for identification.
This seems not to be possible so far? What are you doing istead? Hosting the picture on an external service and post a link in the comments of the ID?
I have no idea, what could be best practice.
you can directly embed an image in a comment. First, the image needs to be hosted elsewhere, and then you paste this text in a comment on an observation:
and replace the part in double quotation marks with the text from your image; to get that text, right click the hosted image and select ‘copy link address’
