On the observations page there is a white space that is almost as large as the map itself. is this the intended website design? At such a large scale it is the only way to maintain the correct aspect ratio for the map projection. ---

wouldn’t the map ratio stay the same even if Antarctica was at the footer? It would show less revolutions of the map horizontally, but the aspect ratio for the projection would be the same. It’d be nice to see the map take up the available space. I had a look at the website in other resolutions and it seems to be sized perfectly for a 1080p monitor, which is a very common resolution. My monitor is 1440p which is becoming more common. ---
