Description of problem: Pictures are stuck “waiting to upload” with the header saying “Preparing…”. Hitting Stop/Resume doesn’t help, and I’ve changed the auto-upload setting in the settings section (turned it off, then back on). Some of these observations are from a different timezone, but the issue started when I tried to upload ones from my timezone, and none of the pictures are in the future due to timezones (as I’ve seen this be the problem factor in other threads with the same issue). I’ve also restarted my phone.

Step 1: Upload picture from gallery

Step 2: Add organism name+location/etc. and hit upload

Step 3: Stuck in preparing limbo for hours

i would just reference this thread when you send the log file.

This has hit a few users, we’re investigating it. Sorry it’s affecting you. Yes, log files and perhaps a screen recording if possible would be helpful.

Okay! I’ve already sent in the log files, would it be helpful to add a screen recording? Or should I just leave it since I already sent it

I have this also, I think for a few months.. Android 1.38.2(646).

Found some logs, send them with a screenrecording but probably as Drive links.

Hope you can acces the files and the screenrecording.

Thanks, added those to the issue. Does deleting and reinstalling the app fix it at all?

Got for the first time the message ‘‘Upload voltooid’’, never saw this before…

Added an observation but I can not reproduce it anymore.
Reinstall seems to fix the ‘‘Preparing…’’ bug.

Added 6 observations but still no return of the ‘‘Preparing…’’ bug.

Updates seems to be much faster, quicker response from the app.. I like the improvements!

Uninstalling and reinstalling seems to fix the issue as of right now. Thank you!!
