Photo request for environmental education – Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park

To whom it may concern,

For the purpose of promoting our natural heritage and supporting environmental education (non-profit use), the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park (France) is seeking high-resolution photographs of the following specific species:

  • Anacamptis pyramidalis subsp. tanayensis

  • Alchemilla flexicaulis

  • Alchemilla schmidelyana

  • Leucopoa pulchella subsp. jurana

  • Ranunculus trichophyllus subsp. eradicatus

We are reaching out to see if you might be able to assist us. If you have these images in your collection, we will, of course, strictly respect your terms of use and ensure that all required photo credits are clearly displayed.

If you do not have these specific shots but could refer us to a partner documentary collection or a specialist photographer, we would be very grateful.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

Nelly : n.orand@parcdesbauges.com

welcome to the forum

only a very small % of the total userbase of iNaturalist uses this forum, and probably an exceedingly small % of the forum userbase will have the photos you need

the most effective approach for you will be to search for records of these taxa on iNaturalist itself, and reach out to the observers you find, either by commenting directly on their observations or sending them a personal message

there are currently no records of A. flexicaulis on iNaturalist, but there are records for all the others

Anacamptis pyramidalis subsp. tanayensis: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?taxon_id=1182037

Alchemilla schmidelyana: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?taxon_id=1366785

Leucopoa pulchella subsp. jurana (we’re currently using the name Festuca pulchella on iNat): https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?taxon_id=1061779

Ranunculus trichophyllus subsp. eradicatus (we’re currently using the name Ranunculus confervoides on iNat): https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?taxon_id=774679
