That wasn’t what chaste meant by cultivated seed, though. “Planted in the ground or scattered by humans,” meaning that the seeds, themselves, are cultivated.

I could argue that “living organisms dispersed by the wind, water, and other forces apart from humans” includes a lobster I bought at the supermarket if I put it on my driveway during a windstorm and it got blown a few feet onto the porch

There’s always going to be weird obscurities and anomalies that push the boundaries of iNaturalist. One could start a new post to discuss lobsters: wild, captive, escaped or released. I think wild habitat for a lobster is the ocean. A living captive lobster from the supermarket that escapes into or is released into the ocean, can then be observed in the wild. Cross referencing iNaturalist rules would establish if a supermarket bought lobster, that’s on a porch, is in the wild or not. Or for that matter, if the wind blew a wild lobster into a supermarket (lobster that flew into a building).
