I am on a rather slow connection. When going through identifications, a lot of time is spent waiting for the main picture of an observation to build up. I think it would help if the site would preload the next 1-4 or so observations in the background.
Just to be clear, this is when you’re waiting for the photo to initially load, correct? Not when zooming in on a photo?
Also noting that some people might not want to increase bandwidth for this kind of loading. So maybe it could be a toggle if implemented.

I think this would be very helpful, and having it as a toggle for those who don’t want to use the extra bandwidth would be great.
This is quite an old topic, from almost three years ago, but I do think that this should be revisited and considered. This is a great idea.
