Description of problem:
Step 1: type into the project lists to filter, for example here gall
Step 2: press down arrow twice to highlight the second option in the list, in this case Gall Week September 2024 and hit enter
Step 3: The project added was the first option which was unhighlighted, Leaf and Plant Galls
I’ve been noticing this for a long time but thought it was my Dark Reader messing up the CSS on the highlighted list. Today I tried without the extension on and saw the same issue.
It doesn’t matter how many times you press down, the highlighted option will change, but pressing enter always selects the first option.’
Update - I think this only applies to projects with a popup for annotations. When I tried this again I could go down the list and select Projects like Eggs & Nests (N. America) which has no popup:
But trying Found Feathers which does have a popup I get get the popup for Animal-caused Plant Diseases of North America, which is the first project in my list that has a pop:
