I already added this neat study by iNat user Josip Skejo to the list above but highlight it here as it prominently features several iNat observations: https://doi.org/10.3897/zookeys.948.52910

Dear @tmvdh : thanks for the info about your publication.
But a general remark for you and everyboy else : each specimen cited in a paper should be cited unequivocally, like for a specimen from a classical collection, that means with an unique identifical number.
Illustration in this case: you wrote about an only one specimen of the species from Algeria, which seem easy to find by searching on iNat, and you fortunately have precised it was observed by “rania7” at 8.XII.2019. But today the only one specimen from Algeria is by “rda1” at 17.VI.2019, with the ID number 27163068 : https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/27163068
Consequently, one that would take a look on the specimen you talk about could easily find this another specimen that make wrong conclusion, if applicable.
Errol.

Another one:

Dear @abounabat: Sorry, but the specimen mentioned by you (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/27163068) isn’t the only one from Algeria. The one mentioned in my paper is still there: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/36470103. The link to that photo/specimen/upload is included in my paper. Thus, there is no problem if someone is searching for it…

PS: The specimen mentioned by you was indentified (to species level) after my paper was published.

We published a natural history note today that is based on an iNaturalist observation (EDIT: I was able to add it to the wiki). It can be accessed through this website: https://ssarherps.org/herpetological-review-pdfs/ (under 51-3 Natural History Notes).

I will when I am sure that the paper has been published. For now, I will say that if the iNat data is accurate, it represents a range expansion for the species in question.

Added to the list above:
van der Heyden, T. (2020) First record of Leptoglossus occidentalis Heidemann, 1910 (Hemiptera: Coreidae) in Andorra. Arquivos Entomolóxicos 22: 377–378.

One more paper added to the list:
van der Heyden, T. (2020) First record of Sphedanolestes cingulatus (Fieber, 1864) (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Reduviidae) in Greece. Journal of the Heteroptera of Turkey 2(2): 148–149.
