I may not be posting this in the correct place - if so, my apologies……I’m just a regular person who loves using this app……but I wanted to find out if there is any way for the app to be set to flag or inform you if something you observe is rare or endangered? Or if not, is that a feature that we may see in future?
You can also get a very rough sense of rarity by looking at how many observations the species has. There are a lot of reasons why, for instance, one fly has only 10 observations, and another has 30,000. But I always enjoy seeing something that is less commonly observed, even if I can’t know how genuinely rare or possibly threatened it is. :-)
Sorry, I should’ve been more clear….I guess I more meant from my main observation list page, without actually having to go into each individual observation to look - I was already aware of both these suggestions, but thank you so much for taking the time to point those things out! There is a reason I’m asking…… was just trying to see a way around having to go back into 500 individual observations to look at each one. Thanks anyway!
Ah, yeah, I see what you mean. I’ve often wanted to be able to sort my observations from those with the most observations to those with the fewest. Since observation counts are constantly changing, that might actually be harder than what you’re looking for. Oh, and I just noticed that someone may have given you the solution!
