Remove a specie from the Inaturalist taxonomy

Hi in the children of Agelestica species, there is that specie: Agelestica bimaculata and even another one : Agelestica coerula.

Both are considered as a synonym of Agelestica alni on GBIGF.

Can a curator remove those species or show coerula as a subspecie / a variation of alni ?

I’ve searched for the genus Agelestica in a number of resources and can’t find it. What type of animals/plants are they? (Order, family, etc.)
UPDATE: I found the genus, spelled Agelastica, among the Chrysomelid beetles.
