For that obs - the Genus was split and became a Tribe - which no longer disagreed with the wrong species.
Whereas your sp disagrees with the first one.
The initial disagreement stayed in the same genus, so it was a stated explicit disagreement that should have been retained? It’s not like it was choosing a different genus which then got turned into an agreeing tribe ID. I don’t see why moving further up the tree should be allowed to lose an explicit disagreement.
I have sweat blood to fathom that CID algorithm. Still mystifies me sometimes.
